HURRICANE 2016

HURRICANE MATTHEW
2016

In October 2016, Hurricane Matthew caused extreme destruction in the southwestern region of Haiti.  Immediately following the hurricane, Nelly's House distributed food to many families in the communities we serve. In November 2016, a team of Nelly's House volunteers from the US visited some of the devastated communities.

By December 2016, all the schools resumed classes and the lunch program is running, however, a few schools are still operating without roofs.  Due to your support, we continue to feed the hungry and are helping a few of the schools replace roofs and classrooms destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.  Nelly's House has operated with an ALL volunteer staff for the past 10 years.

Please give.

We pray God to bless you for your care and your love to His children and the wounded people from the hurricane.
